49th Divisional Basketball and Volleyball Competition (Under 14 & Under 19 Girls)

1.      The coloring ceremony of the 49th Divisional Basketball and Volleyball Competition (Under 14 & Under 19 Girls) at Central School Cantonment, Kanpur was held today on 26th April 2018 at 09:30. Mr Suhail Ansari, the Legislative Assembly Member of Uttar Pradesh, was the chief guest of this function. The Principal of Vidyalaya Mr. Sudip Bajpayee ji welcomed the Chief Guest with a floral bouquet. Students of Central Vidyalaya Cantt, Kanpur took the welcome to the chief guest and presented a welcome song and dance to everyone. The Chief guest announced the beginning of the competition, while highlighting the importance of sports in his explanation. Principal Mr Sudeep Bajpai highlighted the contribution of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatana in the Games at national and international level in his energetic enlightenment. In this competition, 30 teams of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangha, Lucknow division are participating, in which 265 total participants are included. This program will run from April 26 to April 28, 2018, that is, three days. Final matches will be played on the final day. After this the teams will be formed to participate at the national level. On this occasion, Shri S.P.Gupta, S.K.Jha, HN Dubey, Anuj Gupta, AS Sanger, Padam, C. B. Saroj etc. were present. The program was conducted by Mr. H. N. Dubey, Smt. Geeta Bhadauriya and Ms. Deepa Sonkar. PET of the school conducting the entire program. Shri Kamal is completing the combination of Kishor. The school's senior teacher Mrs. Sushma Tiwari thanked everyone.

2. The concluding ceremony of 49th Divisional Basketball and Volleyball Competition (Under-14 and Under-19 Boys) at Central School Cantonment, Kanpur concludes today at 02:00 PM on 3rd May 2018. The chief organizer said that all matches were successful and the team playing at the national level has been selected. In the basketball under-14 boys final match, the Central School J.L.A. Bareilly's team is in the first place and the team of Central School Aliganj Lucknow is in second place. In the basketball under-19 boys final match, the Central School J.L.A. Bareilly's team is in the first place and the Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 Chakri Kanpur team is in second place. Volleyball Under 19 Boys First Place No. 1 Chamery & Second Locations RPP Bijnor Lucknow Volleyball Under 14 Boys First Place Defense Vihar Kanpur and 2nd Place No.1 The chief guest, Mrs. Sushma Tiwari, Senior Teacher, Second Pali, awarded the winners. Shri Kamal Kishore thanked everyone. On this occasion, HN Dubey, Shailendra Sharma, Anuj Gupta, AS Sanger, Padam Pandey, Buddha Singh Kushwaha, Chandan Verma, Shailendra Khare were present on the occasion. The program was conducted by Mrs Geeta Bhadauriya and Ms. Deepa Sonkar.

TARUNOTSAV 2018-19

3.      TARUNOTAV the ‘Brain Child’ of our most esteemed Commissioner Sir is being organised in the Vidyalaya in due letter and spirit. The students who have appeared in Class X board exam are enthusiastically participating in it and are utilising this free time to decide about their subjects they might opt in Class XI on the basis of their personal aim and interest and not under pressure of outside agencies. The programme started on 2 April 2018 under the chairmanship of Principal Sir (Mr. Sudip Bajpai). Sir discussed about the main motive of Tarunotsav i.e. to inculcate and imbibe their passion in different field like gardening, speaking, gardening, yoga, movie making, career counselling and guidance etc. and at the same time to make them aware about their subject selection and the kinds of hardships they might face when they opt for subjects which is not as per their interest.

 

4.      WORLD YOGA DAY - 21 JUNE 2018

No other day can be more befitting to open the Vidyalaya after Summer Vacations than the World Yoga Day. The preparations had already been made to make Yoga Day a grand success. The students and teachers practiced the ‘Asanas’ which were demonstrated by the Yoga teacher in front of them. Mr. H.N.Dubey P.G.T. Hindi narrated the benefits of different ‘asanas’. Teachers and students enthusiastically took part and the volunteers helped those who had problem doing the asanas.
